16.life before camp half-blood(5 sentences): Annie grew up in England with her mom, her step dad, and her older brother, Darren. Darren was Annie's favorite person in her family. One day, Darren apparently fell out of his window and 'died.' Annie had changed at the moment her parents found him lying lifelessly on the ground. Eventually she got better and adjusted to life again, but it never truly felt the same. One day her parents decided to take her to camp.

I heard my mum say. She opened the door and stepped in. "Hey Annie," Mum said sadly. I could tell she had been crying too. She sat down on my bed next to me. "I love you, Mum," I said quietly, hoping she wouldn't hear my voice shaking. "I know you do, Annie. I know you do."
