16.life before camp half-blood(5 sentences): Kaytee grew up in an orphanage in New York City. She didn't have many friends and she was the youngest person there. One day, Kaytee was taking a walk with her only friend, Mandy, who was 16 and more like and older sister than a friend, when she found a kitty. The kitty didn't seem to have an owner, and Kaytee begged Mandy to let her bring it back to the orphanage. She promised that she would take care of it and play with it and if she didn't it could go away. Mandy said she could take it back, but she had to ask Mrs. Reyne, the owner of the orphanage. Mrs. Reyne was very nice, so when Kaytee asked, Mrs. Reyne said yes. One day, some kids started bullying Kaytee. She told Mandy about it, and Mandy told Mrs. Reyne, but Mrs. Reyne refused to believe that the kids would beat anyone up. Eventually, Kaytee ran away. On a cold day in the middle of winter, a satyr found her, cold and almost starving. He gave her some food and let her stay at his house for a while to get her energy back. When she was strong enough, the satyr took her to camp.

I looked at the snowflakes falling from the grey New York sky. "Don't worry, Thweetie. We'we gonna find a plathe to thtay. We will. Today. I pwomith," I said to her. "Hey, kid!" I heard a boy yell. "Want some tuna?" "Tuna?" I asked shakily. "Did thomebody thay...Tuna?" The boy laughed, and I whipped my head around. I saw him walking towards me, holding a can of tuna. My mouth started watering. "Why don't you come into my house?" he asked, pointing to a house being him. I stood up and nodded. Sweetie and I started to walk towards his house. "I told you tho, Thweetie. I told you tho!" I whispered excitedly.
